Micro, Small & Medium Industries
Policy-2008 Highlights
- (a) Highlevelcommittee has been constituted
under the Chairmanship of Honourable Rural Industries
Minister. The High Level Committee will monitor
"New Industrial Policy-2008", which was released
by Honourable Chief Minister on 22.2.2008.
(b) Goverment have announced the following incentives
to Micro Enterprises to be located at all the
Blocks of State.
Micro Enterprises can avails
following subsidies:
- 15% Capital subsidy(plant and Machinery)
- LTPT subsidy at a flat rate of 20% for 3 years
from DCP or date of date of power supply which
ever is later.
- Subsidy equal to the assessed Value Added
Tax paid by them for the first 6 year after
Date of Commencement of Production.
© Subsidy to MSME to be
located at Backward blocks of this District:
- 15% Capital Subsidy (Plant and Machinery)
- 5% Additional Subsidy to Enterprises which
employs at least 25 workers for minimum period
of 3 years. (ESI, EPE records to be furnished).
- Additional Capital subsidy of 25% for MSME
for promotion of cleaner and environment friendly
technologies. (ECO Friends green Technologies).
- LTPT subsidy at a rate of 20% for 3 years
from DCP or date of power supply which ever
is later.
2. In the Industrial Estates
developed by SIDCO upto 30% of area will be reserved
for Micro Enterprises.
3. In the Industrial Estates
developed by SIPCOT, uoto 20% of area will be
Reserved for Small and Medium Enterprises.
4. Establishment of Multi-Storied
Thatched Estates:
Liberal Plicy announced for
Micro Enterprises in the multistory flat type
Industrial Estate (FSI) 1.5. to 1.75 and upto
2.5 for multi storied industrial units.
5. Subsidy for setting of agro bases Enterprises:
The Subsidy scheme for setting up of agro based enterprises in all Blocks in the State (5 Enterprises per block & Rs.15 Lakhs subsidy ceiling has been relaxed for MSME).
6. Special Capital Subsidy for Thrust Sector Enterprise:
Special Capital Subsidy at the rate of 15% on Plant and Machinery for the following enterprises:
- Electrial & Electronics Industry.
- Leather and Leather goods.
- Auto parts and components.
- Drugs and Pharmaceuticals.
- Solar Energy Equipment.
- Gold and Diamond Jewellery for exports.
- Pollution Control equipments.
- Sports Goods and Accessories.
- Cost effective building material.
- Readymade Garments.
- Any other industry to be notified by the Governemnt in this regard time to time.
7. An Additional Capital Subsidy of 5% will be given to enterprises set up by Women, SC/ST, Physically disabled & Transgender entrepreneurs.
8. a) Stamp Duty Exemption:
Micro Manufacturing Enterprises will be exempted from payment of stamp duty on mortgages and pledged documents.
b) Stamp Duty Exemption:
(Industrially Backward Areas)
Enterprises in SIDCO or Governemnt developed estates for Micro and Small Enterprises sectors will be entitled to 50% rebate on stamp duty and registration at the time of original allotment, based on the transfer value fixed by SIDCO or Government in respect of such estates. In respect of Micro and Small Enterprises set up in industrially backward areas, the 50% rebate on stamp duty and registration would be reimbursed after commencement of production.
